Description: #Episode5 0:00 Intro 0:24 Visiting the Rings 1:57 Visiting the Poles Let’s assume we get to Saturn, safe and sound, and lets assume we have the equipment and technology to safety visit Saturn. We get to Saturn, what now? What are some nice vacation spots to visit? Well, there’s one region that Saturn has, that pops out more than any other planet we have, and of course, thats its rings. Saturn’s rings are made up of rocks and ice particles, ranging from small particle sizes up to the size of buildings. Now Saturns’s rings move, there is motion in those rocks and particles, so we must not go near them. As exciting as it might sound to go inside the rings, there’s no point. Being inside the rings won’t make much of a difference in your viewing experience, and it will certainly put you in danger. So instead, we can orbit Saturn, specifically, orbit the rings, that are orbiting the planet. This way, if we are orbiting with the rings, we will have a spectacular view of us and the rings orbiting the planet. Trust me, this view will be crazy. If anyone is adventurous and willing to go for a space walk outside the station, then they can go. We just have to take extra precaution, because we don’t want a rock to hit the astronaut. I already know, if I ever get the chance to visit any planet, ill definitely go visit Saturn and its rings. The rings are like the highways of Saturn, and you and the rocks are like the vehicles traveling around it. Now Saturn itself is a large gaseous planet, with no spots for landing. Even though that is the case, we have another place to visit, and that is it’s poles. To get to the poles, we need to go around the rings. This task will not be too difficult to do, as the rings are very thin compared to size of Saturn. Once we go over or under the rings, we are good. No more moving rocks or particles. We then approach the north or South Pole of Saturn, and we’ll instantly see something spectacular going on, the auroras. Similar to jupiter and the video I made on that, these auroras are much like the ones on earth, but they have more energy and are more vibrant. You’ll see light shows that you’ll never forget. These auroras won’t cause harm or anything, they just look like these beautiful streams of colourful light that swim along the atmosphere. For me, I’d love to visit these auroras when I’m about to fall asleep, I think there’s something special about this lights that just creates a relaxing and soothing feeling.
